A – A controlled expansion of our communities. Development that respects policy, values input from affected stakeholders, and capitalizes on our rural character. To have a council that residents truly believe represents them and their interests. To have financial transparency so that stakeholders understand how their tax dollars are being spent. And, to ensure financial resiliency by ensuring development covers its costs.
Q – HOW DO YOU SEE ROCKY VIEW CHANGING OVER THE NEXT 10 TO 20 YEARS?
A – A gradual expansion of new and existing development that reflects anticipated growth. On the business side, a shift in focus to agribusiness and logistics – in appropriate locations.
Q – WHAT RELEVANT EXPERIENCE WOULD YOU BRING TO ROCKY VIEW COUNTY?
A – A current Councillor, I have also been actively involved in promoting residents’ interests for the past 7 years. I am committed to ensuring residents’ concerns are heard. I understand the issues we face. Have the track record proving I stand up for what I believe is right and regularly update residents on council decisions. I also sit on Rural Crime Watch’s Board.
