Q & A
WHAT I'VE HEARD WHILE GOING DOOR TO DOOR
The response at the doors over these past three weeks has been overwhelming. Thank you!
If I haven't been to your door, I will be there in the coming days.Â
Of course, if you'd prefer to give me a call or set up a Zoom chat, I'm more than happy to do that, too. Just let me know, I'm here for you!
WHAT REALLY HAPPENED WITH THE SANCTIONS, WE HAVE HEARD DIFFERING VERSIONS?
In early 2019, in our commitment to transparent and accountable decision-making, Councillors Crystal Kissel, Kevin Hanson and I challenged the process used to hire then-CAO Al Hoggan. We hired a lawyer – at personal expense – to obtain advice on how to deal with our concerns and wrote a letter to the editor of Rocky View Weekly to make residents aware of our concerns.
YOUR OPPONENT IS SAYING THAT THE DISQUALIFICATION CASE IS STILL OUTSTANDING, IS THIS TRUE?
Absolutely not. The Judge rendered his judgement a mere two weeks after he heard the case. Not only did he dismiss all allegations against me, he slapped the Council majority (Henn, Boehlke, Gautreau, Schule and McKylor) hard for attempting to use the courts to settle a dispute that was "politically motivated."
